In Thursday's non-league contest, the Lake Placid Bombers (Lake Placid, NY) softball team overwhelmed the visiting Johnsburg Central Jaguars (North Creek, NY), by a margin of 13-4.
With the triumph, Lake Placid moves its record to 5-5 on the year. The Bombers travel to Chazy (Chazy, NY) to play the Eagles in a Section 7 Mountain Valley contest on Friday, May 13. The Eagles come into the contest with a record of 3-6. Chazy lost 9-6 in their recent non-league contest against Willsboro Central (Willsboro, NY)
In their next game, the Jaguars play the Boquet Valley Griffins (Elizabethtown, NY) in a non-league contest, on Friday, May 13. Johnsburg Central will attempt to move on its 4-4 season record.
