In Thursday's non-league contest, the La Plata Warriors (La Plata, MD) softball team overwhelmed the visiting Westlake Wolverines (Waldorf, MD), by a margin of 12-0.
With the triumph, La Plata moves its record to 15-3 on the year. The Warriors host Lackey (Indian Head, MD) to play the Chargers in a non-league contest on Monday, May 16. The Chargers come into the contest with a record of 8-9. Lackey won 18-4 in their recent non-league contest against Stone (Waldorf, MD)
