L'Anse Creuse North Crusaders (Macomb, MI) backers exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting St. Clair Saints (St. Clair, MI), 3-0 in a league challenge.

The Crusaders now own a 4-2 record. They take the field next when they host Lake Shore for a Macomb Area - Gold challenge on Tuesday, May 17. L'Anse Creuse North will face a Shorians squad coming off a 7-1 non-league win over Berkley (Berkley, MI). The Shorians record now stands at 1-3.

With the loss, St. Clair falls to 2-2 on the campaign. The Saints travel to Algonac (Algonac, MI) to face the Muskrats in a non-league challenge on Monday, May 16. The Muskrats enter the challenge with a record of 20-2. Algonac won 9-2 in their recent non-league challenge against Marysville (Marysville, MI)
