Lincoln-Way West Warriors (New Lenox, IL) fans exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they saw their softball squad achieve victory over the visiting Stagg Chargers (Palos Hills, IL), 15-3 in a league challenge.

The Warriors now sport a 15-6 record. They take the field next when they travel to Plainfield South for a non-league challenge on Saturday, May 14. Lincoln-Way West will face a Cougars squad coming off a 3-2 league loss to Plainfield Central (Plainfield, IL). The Cougars record now stands at 8-16.

With the loss, Stagg falls to 4-12 on the campaign. The Chargers travel to Lincoln-Way Central (New Lenox, IL) to face the Knights in a SouthWest Suburban challenge on Friday, May 13. The Knights enter the challenge with a record of 16-3. Lincoln-Way Central won 5-0 in their recent league challenge against Andrew (Tinley Park, IL)
