The Shenandoah Valley Blue Devils softball squad scored 12 runs and held the host Mahanoy Area Golden Bears to 2 in the Blue Devils league win on Thursday.

The Blue Devils now sport a 10-8 record. They take the field next when they travel to Our Lady of Lourdes Regional for a non-league match on Monday, May 16. Shenandoah Valley will face a Red Raiders squad coming off a 4-3 league win over Lehighton (Lehighton, PA). The Red Raiders record now stands at 7-11.

With the loss, Mahanoy Area falls to 1-14 on the campaign. The Golden bears host Lincoln Leadership Academy (Allentown, PA) to play the Lions in a non-league game on Saturday, May 14. The Lions come into the game with a record of 2-10.
