The Plainfield Panthers softball team (Central Village, CT), was routed 19-4 in Thursday's non-league test with the host Montville Indians (Oakdale, CT)
Coming up next, the Indians clash with the Old Lyme Wildcats (Old Lyme, CT) in a non-league test, on Monday, May 16. Montville will attempt to improve on its 5-8 season record. The Wildcats come into the test with a 13-4 record after their 12-0 league win over Old Saybrook (Old Saybrook, CT).
The Panthers (5-9) will now prepare for their test against Windham (Willimantic, CT). The Whippets come into the Eastern Connecticut - Small test with a 8-6 record. In their last test, Windham was routed by Lyman Memorial (Lebanon, CT), 3-1, in a league test.
