In Friday's non-league challenge, the Bourbon County Colonels (Paris, KY) baseball squad triumphed over the host Bryan Station Defenders (Lexington, KY), by a final score of 6-0.
With the win, Bourbon County upgrades its record to 26-11 on the season. The Colonels host Bath County (Owingsville, KY) to battle the Wildcats in a non-league game on Saturday, May 13. The Wildcats go into the game with a record of 15-15.
The Defenders (0-23) will now prepare for their game against Henry Clay (Lexington, KY). The Blue Devils go into the District 42 game with a 22-11 record.
