New York High School Baseball - Homer defeats Marcellus

Spectators at Friday's league battle between the Homer Trojans (Homer, NY) and the visiting Marcellus Mustangs (Marcellus, NY), saw Homer's baseball squad knock off Marcellus by a count of 14-8.

Coming up next, the Trojans play the Bishop Grimes Cobras (East Syracuse, NY) in a Section 3 Liberty battle, on Tuesday, May 16. Homer will attempt to move on its 9-7 season record. The Cobras enter the battle with a 4-6 record after their 7-5 league loss to Westhill (Syracuse, NY).

The Mustangs now possess a 6-6 record. They take the field next when they host Oswego for a non-league battle on Saturday, May 13. Marcellus will play a Bucs squad coming off a 14-5 league loss to Auburn (Auburn, NY). The Bucs record now stands at 4-9.
