Spectators at Friday's non-league battle between the Shrewsbury Colonials (Shrewsbury, MA) and the host Shepherd Hill Regional Rams (Dudley, MA), saw Shrewsbury's baseball squad knock off Shepherd Hill Regional by a tally of 7-1.
The Colonials now hold a 9-4 record. They take the field next when they host Westborough for a Midland-Wachusett A bout on Monday, May 15. Shrewsbury will face a Rangers team coming off a 5-3 league loss to Leominster (Leominster, MA). The Rangers record now stands at 7-7.
Next, the Rams face the Burncoat Patriots (Worcester, MA) in a non-league bout, on Monday, May 15. Shepherd Hill Regional will attempt to advance on its 4-9 season record. The Patriots enter the bout with a 4-9 record after their 12-2 non-league loss to Keefe Tech (Framingham, MA).
