The Sandburg Eagles volleyball team (Orland Park, IL), was nudged 2-1 in Friday's non-league challenge with the visiting Wheaton-Warrenville South Tigers (Wheaton, IL)
The Tigers (17-12) will now prepare for their challenge against Richards (Oak Lawn, IL). The Bulldogs enter the non-league challenge with a 8-14 record. In their last challenge, Richards was tipped by Brother Rice (Chicago, IL), 2-0, in a non-league outing.
The Eagles now sport a 11-14 record. They play next when they host Brother Rice for a non-league outing on Saturday, May 13. Sandburg will face a Crusaders squad coming off a 2-0 non-league win over Berwyn/Cicero Morton (Cicero, IL). The Crusaders record now stands at 22-6.
