The Fort Defiance Indians softball team scored 22 runs and limited the visiting Waynesboro Little Giants to 12 in the Indians non-league triumph on Friday.

With the triumph, Fort Defiance moves its record to 5-11 on the year. The Indians travel to Staunton (Staunton, VA) to play the Storm in a non-league game on Monday, May 15. The Storm come into the game with a record of 1-15. Staunton lost 15-0 in their recent non-league game against Buffalo Gap (Swoope, VA)

In their next game, the Little Giants play the Riverheads Gladiators (Staunton, VA) in a non-league game, on Monday, May 15. Waynesboro will attempt to move on its 2-11 season record. The Gladiators come into the game with a 6-9 record after their 9-5 non-league loss to Wilson Memorial (Fishersville, VA).
