The Riverheads Gladiators softball team (Staunton, VA), was routed 9-5 in Friday's non-league test with the visiting Wilson Memorial Green Hornets (Fishersville, VA)

Coming up next, the Green Hornets clash with the Spotswood Trailblazers (Penn Laird, VA) in a non-league test, on Monday, May 15. Wilson Memorial will attempt to improve on its 11-7 season record. The Trailblazers come into the test with a 11-5 record after their 14-13 non-league loss to Broadway (Broadway, VA).

The Gladiators (6-9) will now prepare for their match against Waynesboro (Waynesboro, VA). The Little Giants go into the non-league match with a 2-12 record. In their last match, Waynesboro was routed by Fort Defiance (Fort Defiance, VA), 22-12, in a non-league match.
