In Friday's non-league contest, the Lunenburg Blue Knights (Lunenburg, MA) lacrosse squad edged the visiting Auburn Rockets (Auburn, MA), by a count of 9-8.
Coming up next, the Blue Knights confront the Littleton Tigers (Littleton, MA) in a Midland-Wachusett C contest, on Tuesday, May 16. Lunenburg will attempt to advance on its 8-6 season record. The Tigers come into the contest with a 10-3 record after their 13-9 league win over Tyngsborough (Tyngsborough, MA).
The Rockets now own a 7-8 record. They take the field next when they travel to Milford for a non-league contest on Saturday, May 20.
