The Addison Trail Blazers softball team scored 17 runs and limited the visiting Proviso East Pirates to 0 in the Blazers league triumph on Friday.

With the triumph, Addison Trail improves its record to 16-6 on the year. The Blazers travel to Naperville North (Naperville, IL) to clash with the Huskies in a non-league game on Saturday, May 13. The Huskies come into the game with a record of 17-6. Naperville North won 9-1 in their recent league game against Waubonsie Valley (Aurora, IL)

In their next game, the Pirates clash with the Leyden Eagles (Franklin Park, IL) in a West Suburban - Gold game, on Monday, May 15. Proviso East will attempt to improve on its 3-14 season record. The Eagles come into the game with a 11-8 record after their 12-3 league win over Berwyn/Cicero Morton (Cicero, IL).
