Canastota Red Raiders (Canastota, NY) fans exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they saw their softball squad nip the host Adirondack Wildcats (Boonville, NY), 4-2 in a league challenge.

The Red Raiders now sport a 11-4 record. They take the field next when they host Adirondack for a Section 3 Center State I challenge on Friday, May 12. Canastota will face a Wildcats squad coming off a 15-2 league win over Little Falls (Little Falls, NY). The Wildcats record now stands at 9-1.

With the loss, Adirondack falls to 10-2 on the campaign. The Wildcats travel to Canastota (Canastota, NY) to face the Red Raiders in a Section 3 Center State I challenge on Friday, May 12.
