The Mount Pleasant Tigers (Mt. Pleasant, NC) softball the host Burns Bulldogs (Lawndale, NC), 4-0 in Friday's non-league bout.

The Tigers (16-10) will now prepare for their bout against Southwestern Randolph (Asheboro, NC). The Cougars go into the non-league bout with a 21-1 record. In their last bout, Southwestern Randolph held off Providence Grove (Franklinville, NC), 5-0, in a non-league bout.

The Bulldogs now possess a 19-7 record.
