Waterloo Pirates (Waterloo, WI) backers exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting Cambridge Bluejays (Cambridge, WI), 5-0 in a league challenge.

The Pirates now own a 5-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to Westfield Area for a non-league challenge on Tuesday, May 16.

With the loss, Cambridge falls to 4-4 on the campaign. The Bluejays host Randolph (Randolph, WI) to battle the Rockets in a non-league challenge on Monday, May 15. The Rockets enter the challenge with a record of 10-10.
