Virginia High School Softball - Culpeper County bounces Chancellor

Culpeper County Blue Devils (Culpeper, VA) fans exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting Chancellor Chargers (Fredericksburg, VA), 11-7 in a league challenge.

The Blue Devils now sport a 5-14 record. They take the field next when they host Eastern View for a Battlefield challenge on Monday, May 15. Culpeper County will face a Cyclones squad coming off a 10-0 league loss to King George (King George, VA). The Cyclones record now stands at 8-10.

With the loss, Chancellor falls to 6-11 on the campaign. The Chargers host James Monroe (Fredericksburg, VA) to face the Yellow Jackets in a Battlefield challenge on Monday, May 15. The Yellow Jackets enter the challenge with a record of 1-16. James Monroe lost 10-0 in their recent league challenge against Caroline (Milford, VA)
