Alaska High School Softball - South Anchorage bounces Eagle River

Spectators at Friday's non-league match between the South Anchorage Wolverines (Anchorage, AK) and the visiting Eagle River Wolves (Eagle River, AK), witnessed South Anchorage's softball squad tip Eagle River by a count of 8-2.

The Wolverines now sport a 11-0 record. They play next when they host Bettye Davis East Anchorage for a non-league match on Saturday, May 13. South Anchorage will meet a Thunderbirds squad coming off a 18-2 non-league win over Colony (Palmer, AK). The Thunderbirds record now stands at 5-3.

With the loss, Eagle River moves to 1-8 on the season. The Wolves travel to Dimond (Anchorage, AK) to meet the Lynx in a non-league match on Saturday, May 13. The Lynx go into the match with a record of 6-6. Dimond lost 5-4 in their recent non-league match against Bartlett (Anchorage, AK)
