New York High School Softball - East Syracuse-Minoa bounces Oswego

Spectators at Friday's non-league match between the East Syracuse-Minoa Spartans (East Syracuse, NY) and the visiting Oswego Bucs (Oswego, NY), witnessed East Syracuse-Minoa's softball squad tip Oswego by a count of 9-2.

The Spartans now sport a 9-7 record. They play next when they travel to Christian Brothers Academy for a non-league match on Saturday, May 13. East Syracuse-Minoa will meet a Brothers squad coming off a 18-11 league win over Hannibal (Hannibal, NY). The Brothers record now stands at 6-5.

With the loss, Oswego moves to 6-7 on the season. The Bucs host Central Square (Central Square, NY) to meet the Redhawks in a Section 3 Central Counties - National match on Wednesday, May 17. The Redhawks go into the match with a record of 6-8.
