Roosevelt Roughriders (Portland, OR) backers exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they saw their softball squad achieve victory over the visiting Grant Generals (Portland, OR), 10-0 in a league challenge.

The Roughriders now own a 14-6 record. They take the field next when they travel to McDaniel for a 6A Portland Interscholastic challenge on Monday, May 15. Roosevelt will face a Mountain Lions squad coming off a 8-4 league loss to Franklin (Portland, OR). The Mountain Lions record now stands at 2-4.

With the loss, Grant falls to 1-8 on the year. The Generals host Lincoln (Portland, OR) to clash with the Cardinals in a 6A Portland Interscholastic game on Monday, May 15. The Cardinals come into the game with a record of 2-6. Lincoln lost 13-3 in their recent league game against Franklin (Portland, OR)
