The crowd at Friday's non-league match between the Poland Tornadoes (Poland, NY) and the visiting Herkimer Magicians (Herkimer, NY), saw Poland's softball squad nip Herkimer by a count of 4-0.

The Tornadoes now sport a 8-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to South Lewis for a non-league match on Saturday, May 13. Poland will play a Falcons team coming off a 9-4 league win over Beaver River (Beaver Falls, NY). The Falcons record now stands at 6-6.

In their next game, the Magicians play the Adirondack Wildcats (Boonville, NY) in a non-league contest, on Monday, May 15. Herkimer will attempt to move on its 8-6 season record. The Wildcats come into the contest with a 11-2 record after their 24-1 league win over Clinton (Clinton, NY).
