Spectators at Friday's non-league match between the St. Andrew's Episcopal Lions (Potomac, MD) and the visiting Madeira Snails (McLean, VA), witnessed St. Andrew's Episcopal's softball squad prevail over Madeira by a count of 15-5.
The Lions now sport a 2-2 record. They play next when they host Sidwell Friends for a non-league match on Saturday, May 13. St. Andrew's Episcopal will face a Quakers squad coming off a 16-2 non-league win over Connelly School of the Holy Child (Potomac, MD). The Quakers record now stands at 13-5.
With the loss, Madeira moves to 1-6 on the season.
