New York High School Softball - Maryvale bounces Pioneer

Spectators at Friday's league match between the Maryvale Flyers (Cheektowaga, NY) and the visiting Pioneer Panthers (Yorkshire, NY), witnessed Maryvale's softball squad prevail over Pioneer by a count of 14-3.

The Flyers now sport a 3-9 record. They play next when they travel to Kennedy for a non-league match on Monday, May 15. Maryvale will meet a Bears squad coming off a 4-3 league win over Tonawanda (Tonawanda, NY). The Bears record now stands at 9-6.

With the loss, Pioneer moves to 1-4 on the season. The Panthers host East Aurora (East Aurora, NY) to meet the Blue Devils in a Section 6 Erie County III match on Saturday, May 13. The Blue Devils go into the match with a record of 3-3.
