The crowd at Friday's league match between the St. Lawrence Central Larries (Brasher Falls, NY) and the visiting Massena Red Raiders (Massena, NY), saw St. Lawrence Central's softball squad nip Massena by a count of 8-2.
The Larries now sport a 8-5 record. They take the field next when they host Potsdam for a Section 10 Central match on Monday, May 15. St. Lawrence Central will face a Sandstoners squad coming off a 19-1 league loss to Massena (Massena, NY). The Sandstoners record now stands at 0-9.
With the loss, Massena falls to 6-7 on the campaign. The Red raiders host Franklin Academy (Malone, NY) to face the Huskies in a Section 10 Central match on Tuesday, May 16. The Huskies enter the match with a record of 6-8. Franklin Academy won 20-5 in their recent league match against Salmon River (Fort Covington, NY)
