Spectators at Friday's non-league match between the West Geauga Wolverines (Chesterland, OH) and the visiting Perry Pirates (Perry, OH), witnessed West Geauga's softball squad tip Perry by a count of 3-2.

The Wolverines now sport a 9-6 record. They play next when they travel to Cardinal for a Chagrin Valley - Valley bout on Saturday, May 13. West Geauga will confront a Huskies squad coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to McDonald (McDonald, OH). The Huskies record now stands at 5-13.
