Michigan High School Baseball - Alcona defeats Mio-Au Sable

The Alcona Tigers baseball team scored 11 runs and held the host Mio-Au Sable Thunderbolts to 4 in the Tigers league win on Monday.

The Tigers now hold a 3-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to Mio HomeSchool for a non-league test on Monday, May 12. Alcona will play a team coming off a 6-2 non-league loss to Mancelona (Mancelona, MI). The record now stands at 3-6.

With the defeat, Mio-Au Sable drops to 2-2 on the year. The Thunderbolts host Whittemore-Prescott (Whittemore, MI) to play the Cardinals in a North Star test on Wednesday, May 14. The Cardinals go into the test with a record of 3-7. Whittemore-Prescott lost 17-1 in their recent non-league test against Tawas Area (Tawas City, MI)
