The Bangor Christian Patriots (Bangor, ME) baseball trounced the host Stearns Minutemen (Millinocket, ME), 16-0 in Monday's league challenge.
The Patriots now own a 7-0 record. They take the field next when they host Greenville for a non-league challenge on Wednesday, May 14. Bangor Christian will clash with a Lakers team coming off a 13-0 league loss to Richmond (Richmond, ME). The Lakers record now stands at 1-5.
With the defeat, Stearns drops to 5-3 on the year. The Minutemen travel to Mattanawcook (Lincoln, ME) to clash with the Lynx in a non-league challenge on Friday, May 16. The Lynx go into the challenge with a record of 7-0.
