The Floyd Central Highlanders baseball squad (Floyds Knobs, IN), was edged 5-4 in Monday's league contest with the visiting New Albany Bulldogs (New Albany, IN)

With the triumph, New Albany moves its record to 10-7 on the season. The Bulldogs travel to Seymour (Seymour, IN) to confront the Owls in a Hoosier Hills contest on Wednesday, May 14. The Owls come into the contest with a record of 14-5. Seymour lost 16-11 in their recent non-league contest against Scottsburg (Scottsburg, IN)

The Highlanders now possess a 8-11 record. They put it on the line next when they host Columbus East for a Hoosier Hills contest on Thursday, May 15.
