The J.P. Stevens Hawks baseball team scored 13 runs and held the visiting Perth Amboy Vo-Tech Patriots to 0 in the Hawks non-league win on Monday.

The Hawks now own a 6-14 record. They take the field next when they host St. Thomas Aquinas for a non-league test on Tuesday, May 13. J.P. Stevens will play a Trojans team coming off a 5-4 league win over North Plainfield (North Plainfield, NJ). The Trojans record now stands at 13-5.

With the defeat, Perth Amboy Vo-Tech drops to 3-12 on the year. The Patriots travel to Somerset Tech (Bridgewater, NJ) to play the Jaguars in a GMC - Gold test on Tuesday, May 13. The Jaguars go into the test with a record of 8-7. Somerset Tech won 6-5 in their recent league test against Highland Park (Highland Park, NJ)
