The Lyman Memorial Bulldogs baseball team scored 4 runs and held the host Putnam Clippers to 0 in the Bulldogs non-league win on Monday.

The Bulldogs now own a 4-6 record. They take the field next when they travel to Bacon Academy for a non-league test on Tuesday, May 13. Lyman Memorial will play a Bobcats team coming off a 7-0 league loss to Stonington (Stonington, CT). The Bobcats record now stands at 9-4.

With the defeat, Putnam drops to 3-12 on the year. The Clippers host Wheeler (North Stonington, CT) to play the Lions in a non-league test on Wednesday, May 14. The Lions go into the test with a record of 7-4. Wheeler lost 6-5 in their recent non-league test against Ledyard (Ledyard, CT)
