Mercer Mustangs (Mercer, PA) followers left the game satisfied Monday as they observed their baseball squad nip the visiting West Middlesex Big Reds (West Middlesex, PA), 4-3 in a league match.

With the triumph, Mercer moves its record to 11-4 on the season. The Mustangs host Sharon (Sharon, PA) to confront the Tigers in a non-league match on Friday, May 16. The Tigers come into the match with a record of 11-4. Sharon won 8-2 in their recent league match against Hickory (Hermitage, PA)

The Big Reds now possess a 10-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Greenville for a District 10 Region 1 match on Wednesday, May 14. West Middlesex will clash with a Trojans team coming off a 6-3 non-league loss to Clarion Area (Clarion, PA). The Trojans record now stands at 13-2.
