New Jersey High School Baseball - Spotswood edges Monroe Township

The Spotswood Chargers baseball team scored 3 runs and held the visiting Monroe Township Falcons to 1 in the Chargers non-league win on Monday.

The Chargers now own a 13-8 record. They take the field next when they travel to Carteret for a non-league test on Tuesday, May 13. Spotswood will play a Ramblers team coming off a 12-4 non-league win over East Brunswick Vo-Tech (East Brunswick, NJ). The Ramblers record now stands at 10-9.

With the defeat, Monroe Township drops to 8-11 on the year. The Falcons travel to Toms River South (Toms River, NJ) to play the Indians in a non-league test on Thursday, May 15. The Indians go into the test with a record of 13-6.
