The crowd at Monday's league battle between the Oxford Hills Vikings (South Paris, ME) and the visiting Skowhegan River Hawks (Skowhegan, ME), saw Oxford Hills's baseball team gain a win over Skowhegan by a tally of 18-2.

The Vikings (4-5) will now prepare for their challenge against Lewiston (Lewiston, ME). The Blue Devils go into the Class A North challenge with a 4-4 record. In their last challenge, Lewiston thwarted Poland (Poland, ME), 1-0, in a non-league challenge.

With the defeat, Skowhegan drops to 3-5 on the year. The River hawks host Bangor (Bangor, ME) to clash with the Rams in a Class A North challenge on Wednesday, May 14. The Rams go into the challenge with a record of 5-2. Bangor won 4-1 in their recent league challenge against Mt. Blue (Farmington, ME)
