Massachusetts High School Baseball - Pope Francis Prep sneaks past Pittsfield

In Monday's league game, the host Pope Francis Prep Cardinals baseball team scored a close 7-6 victory over the Pittsfield Generals.
The Cardinals (14-6) will now prepare for their game against Taconic (Pittsfield, MA). The Thunder enter the Valley West game with a 7-7 record. In their last game, Taconic was tipped by West Springfield (West Springfield, MA), 9-6, in a non-league game.
Next, the Generals face the Monument Mountain Spartans (Great Barrington, MA) in a non-league game, on Tuesday, May 13. Pittsfield will attempt to improve on its 11-3 season record. The Spartans enter the game with a 9-3 record after their 4-3 league win over Wahconah Regional (Dalton, MA).
