The Sheyenne Mustangs baseball team scored 13 runs and held the visiting Valley City Hi-Liners to 3 in the Mustangs league win on Monday.
The Mustangs now own a 10-7 record. They take the field next when they host Valley City for a Class A - East Region test on Monday, May 12. Sheyenne will play a Hi-Liners team coming off a 16-1 league loss to Devils Lake (Devils Lake, ND). The Hi-Liners record now stands at 1-10.
With the defeat, Valley City drops to 1-11 on the year. The Hi-liners travel to Sheyenne (West Fargo, ND) to play the Mustangs in a Class A - East Region test on Monday, May 12. The Mustangs go into the test with a record of 9-7. Sheyenne won 7-2 in their recent non-league test against Dickinson (Dickinson, ND)
