The Waterford Lancers baseball team scored 1 runs and held the host Woodstock Academy Centaurs to 0 in the Lancers league win on Monday.
The Lancers now own a 8-3 record. They take the field next when they host Norwich Free Academy for a Eastern Connecticut - Division I test on Wednesday, May 14. Waterford will clash with a Wildcats team coming off a 4-0 league loss to East Lyme (East Lyme, CT). The Wildcats record now stands at 11-5.
With the defeat, Woodstock Academy drops to 7-8 on the year. The Centaurs travel to Montville (Oakdale, CT) to clash with the Wolves in a non-league test on Tuesday, May 13. The Wolves go into the test with a record of 11-2. Montville won 14-4 in their recent league test against Griswold (Griswold, CT)
