Fans at Monday's league contest between the Kankakee Kays (Kankakee, IL) and the host Thornridge Falcons (Dolton, IL), observed Kankakee's volleyball team top Thornridge by a tally of 2-0.

The Kays (7-8) will now prepare for their contest against Bloom (Chicago Heights, IL). The Blazing Trojan enter the contest with a 9-9 record. In their last contest, Bloom beat Blue Island Eisenhower (Blue Island, IL), 2-0, in a non-league contest.

Next, the Falcons meet the Rich Township Raptors (Olympia Fields, IL) in a contest, on Tuesday, May 13. Thornridge will attempt to upgrade on its 5-9 season record. The Raptors enter the contest with a 8-13 record after their 2-1 league win over Kankakee (Kankakee, IL).
