The Hampshire Whip-Purs (Hampshire, IL) baseball trounced the host Central Rockets (Burlington, IL), 14-3 in Monday's league challenge.
The Whip-Purs now own a 29-9 record. They take the field next when they travel to Crystal Lake Central for a challenge on Wednesday, May 14.
With the defeat, Central drops to 1-1 on the year. The Rockets travel to Lake Zurich (Lake Zurich, IL) to clash with the Bears in a non-league challenge on Wednesday, May 21. The Bears go into the challenge with a record of 10-0.
