The Steinert Spartans (Hamilton, NJ) baseball trounced the visiting Holy Ghost Prep Firebirds (Bensalem, PA), 9-2 in Monday's non-league challenge.
The Spartans now own a 6-1 record. They take the field next when they host Hunterdon Central for a non-league challenge on Saturday, May 24.
With the defeat, Holy Ghost Prep drops to 4-7 on the year. The Firebirds travel to Archbishop Wood (Warminster, PA) to clash with the Vikings in a non-league challenge on Friday, May 16. The Vikings go into the challenge with a record of 9-6. Archbishop Wood lost 13-4 in their recent non-league challenge against La Salle College (Wyndmoor, PA)
