With the triumph, Winfield-Mt. Union advances its record to 5-6 on the campaign. The Wolves host Mediapolis (Mediapolis, IA) to clash with the Bulldogs in a non-league test on Wednesday, May 21. The Bulldogs come into the test with a record of 12-4. Mediapolis won 5-1 in their recent non-league test against Keokuk (Keokuk, IA)

The Indians now have a 0-14 record. They take the field next when they travel to Mid-Prairie for a non-league test on Monday, May 19. Wapello will clash with a Golden Hawks team coming off a 2-1 non-league loss to Bellevue (Bellevue, IA). The Golden Hawks record now stands at 4-11.
