The Cannon Falls Bombers (Cannon Falls, MN) baseball got by the visiting Pine Island Panthers (Pine Island, MN), 8-7 in Monday's non-league challenge.
The Bombers now own a 3-0 record. They take the field next when they host Zumbrota-Mazeppa for a non-league challenge on Thursday, May 15. Cannon Falls will clash with a Cougars team coming off a 9-2 non-league win over Kasson-Mantorville (Kasson, MN). The Cougars record now stands at 3-1.
With the defeat, Pine Island drops to 2-6 on the year. The Panthers host Minnehaha Academy (Minneapolis, MN) to play the Red Hawks in a non-league test on Tuesday, May 13. The Red Hawks go into the test with a record of 0-0.
