The Anchor Bay Tars overwhelmed the host Chippewa Valley Big Reds softball squad by a count of 18-1 in Monday's non-league challenge.

Next, the Tars meet the Utica Eisenhower Eagles (Shelby Township, MI) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, May 13. Anchor Bay will attempt to upgrade on its 6-1 season record.

The Big Reds (2-7) will now prepare for their battle against Dakota (Macomb, MI). The Cougars come into the non-league battle with a 3-1 record.
