The Bryan Station Defenders softball squad (Lexington, KY), was routed 16-3 in Monday's non-league contest with the visiting Montgomery County Indians (Mt. Sterling, KY)

With the triumph, Montgomery County improves its record to 3-0 on the year. The Indians host Lafayette (Lexington, KY) to face the Generals in a non-league contest on Tuesday, May 13. The Generals enter the contest with a record of 4-6. Lafayette won 7-5 in their recent non-league contest against Paul Laurence Dunbar (Lexington, KY)

The Defenders now hold a 1-2 record. They play next when they host Larue County for a non-league contest on Friday, May 16. Bryan Station will face a Hawks squad coming off a 2-0 non-league win over Russell County (Russell Springs, KY). The Hawks record now stands at 4-1.
