In Monday's league test, the Central Rockets (Burlington, IL) softball squad overwhelmed the visiting Prairie Ridge Wolves (Crystal Lake, IL), by a count of 11-1.
Next, the Rockets meet the Marengo Indians (Marengo, IL) in a non-league test, on Tuesday, May 13. Central will attempt to upgrade on its 9-9 season record. The Indians go into the test with a 0-3 record after their 7-4 non-league loss to Central (Burlington, IL).
The Wolves (0-9) will now prepare for their test against McHenry (McHenry, IL). The Warriors go into the test with a 15-4 record. In their last test, McHenry was routed by Jacobs (Algonquin, IL), 11-10, in a league test.
