The Boardman Spartans lacrosse squad scored 12 points and limited the visiting Canfield Cardinals to 2 in the Spartans non-league triumph on Monday.

The Spartans now own a 13-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to Brecksville-Broadview Heights for a Region 2 challenge on Thursday, May 15. Boardman will clash with a Bees squad coming off a 14-6 non-league win over Padua Franciscan (Parma, OH). The Bees record now stands at 8-6.

With the loss, Canfield falls to 7-6 on the year. The Cardinals host Poland Seminary (Poland, OH) to clash with the Bulldogs in a non-league challenge on Wednesday, May 14. The Bulldogs go into the challenge with a record of 0-11. Poland Seminary lost 19-5 in their recent league challenge against Southeast (Ravenna, OH)
