In Monday's league challenge, the visiting Manchester Lancers lacrosse squad scored a tight 9-8 triumph over the Monacan Chiefs.
The Lancers (11-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Godwin (Richmond, VA). The Eagles go into the non-league challenge with a 5-9 record. In their last challenge, Godwin was nipped by Deep Run (Glen Allen, VA), 15-3, in a league challenge.
