California High School Softball - El Capitan gets by Academy of Our Lady of Peace

May 12, 2025: Lakeside, CA 92040

The crowd at Monday's non-league bout between the El Capitan Vaqueros (Lakeside, CA) and the visiting Academy of Our Lady of Peace Pilots (San Diego, CA), observed El Capitan's softball team get by Academy of Our Lady of Peace by a final score of 1-0.

The Vaqueros (12-13) will now prepare for their bout against Steele Canyon (Spring Valley, CA). The Cougars go into the Grossmont Hills bout with a 14-11 record. In their last bout, Steele Canyon tipped Ramona (Ramona, CA), 16-4, in a non-league bout.

In their next game, the Pilots battle the Point Loma Pointers (San Diego, CA) in a City Western bout, on Tuesday, May 13. Academy of Our Lady of Peace will attempt to better on its 6-17 season record. The Pointers go into the bout with a 20-5 record after their 3-1 league win over Patrick Henry (San Diego, CA).
