The Andrew Thunderbolts softball squad (Tinley Park, IL), was edged 2-1 in Monday's league contest with the visiting Lincoln-Way Central Knights (New Lenox, IL)

With the triumph, Lincoln-Way Central improves its record to 23-1 on the year. The Knights host Beecher (Beecher, IL) to face the Bobcats in a non-league contest on Tuesday, May 13. The Bobcats enter the contest with a record of 28-1. Beecher won 12-9 in their recent non-league contest against Providence Catholic (New Lenox, IL)

The Thunderbolts now hold a 17-9 record. They play next when they travel to Bradley-Bourbonnais for a SouthWest Suburban contest on Wednesday, May 14. Andrew will face a Boilermakers squad coming off a 13-2 league win over Homewood-Flossmoor (Flossmoor, IL). The Boilermakers record now stands at 15-10.
