The East Syracuse-Minoa Spartans the host Auburn Maroons softball squad by a count of 8-6 in Monday's league challenge.
Next, the Spartans meet the Jamesville-DeWitt Red Rams (DeWitt, NY) in a Section 3 Freedom challenge, on Wednesday, May 14. East Syracuse-Minoa will attempt to upgrade on its 3-7 season record. The Red Rams go into the challenge with a 6-6 record after their 7-5 non-league win over New Hartford (New Hartford, NY).
The Maroons (2-6) will now prepare for their challenge against Oswego (Oswego, NY). The Bucs go into the Section 3 Empire challenge with a 3-5 record. In their last challenge, Oswego by Jamesville-DeWitt (DeWitt, NY), 8-1, in a league challenge.
